TEAM
John and Judy Jordan moved to Summit County in the Spring of 2017 when they became the new owners of Pug Ryan's Brewery, a local family-style brewery since 1975 in the heart of Dillon, Colorado.

Previously, the couple had been living in Denver where John had been working for Breckenridge Brewery where he did everything from brewing, to canning, and even worked in the quality control lab. (Is that just code for drinking beer, John?)

In May of 2012 an expansion was completed, adding three new 45 BBL fermentors and two 45 BBL serving tanks, more than doubling our capacity and allowing us to focus much more on seasonal specialty craft beers.

While keeping traditional recipes for the staple brews, John is always up to speed on new and innovative beers. Come see what we're working on! Or check out our untappd profile below!
Weston Scott has been Head of Sales for Pug Ryan's since January of 2018. His favorite beers are currently sours and he enjoys playing rugby. Give Weston a high five if you run into him pouring beer for us at festivals!

aboutpug ryan's
Pug Ryan’s has been a cornerstone of the Town of Dillon since its opening way back in 1975!
Named after Louis Arthur Scott aka “Pug" Ryan, a Summit County outlaw back in the mining era. Wanted for robbery and murder in 1898, he stood 5'7", had a pug nose, lifeless gray eyes, scars on his face, and a tattoo reading P-U-G on his arm.
Originally operating as a steakhouse, the addition of a 15-barrel copper Bohemian brewhouse in 1997 began the evolution to what today is Pug Ryan’s Brewing Company.
Celebrated for award-winning beers, elevated mountain fare, and a comfortable atmosphere, Pug Ryan’s is a longtime favorite among locals and visitors alike. With two outdoor patios, a summer dog-friendly beer garden, and an indoor fireplace, all seasons are a great time to visit.
In addition to the brewpub in Dillon, Pug Ryan’s hand-crafted lagers and ales can be found throughout the state of Colorado on draft and in cans. Sit back, have a beer, laugh loud – Welcome to Pug Ryan’s!

Pug Ryan's Brewing Company is named after a Colorado outlaw from the late 1800s, Louis Arthur Scott - also known as the infamous Pug Ryan.
One of the first Colorado craft breweries to package in cans, PRBC has been brewing award-winning beers since 1997.
In addition to our brewpub in Dillon, our hand-crafted lagers & ales can be found throughout the state of Colorado on draft & in cans.
From pub classics like Shepherd's Pie and Fish & Chips to modern plates such as our Pan-Fried Trout and our Flatiron Steak, our brewpub menu has something for everyone.
When in Summit County, join us in our fireside pub for great food, beers, and an excellent happy hour.
