Funky Monk

This is assistant brewer Mike MacDonald's first brew, and it's a winner! This Dark Belgian Ale is fashioned after traditional winter Belgian ale, but with a twist. The slightly fruity flavor is balanced with Kent Golding and Hallertau hops. Belgian candy sugar, coriander and fresh orange peel contribute to the layers of flavor of this 7% brew.

Gorilla Vanilla Stout   This dark full bodied ale has hints & aromas of coffee and chocolate, and is made with a tincture of Jim Beam, Frangelico, Meyers rum and vanilla beans and extract.  It is made with Scotch yeast and a small amount of American ale yeast.
